SILISIL RTV MF-Ultra 50 ist ein bei Raumtemperatur vulkanisierendes 2-Komponenten-Additionssilikon (Platin-vernetzend, RTV-2) der MF-Mold & Form-Reihe — 2K-Hochfestes-Silikon Shore A 50, orange — präzise Reproduktion mit langer Lebensdauer.

Die Mischung wird im Verhältnis 1:1 nach Gewicht angesetzt (Toleranz ±5 %). Topfzeit bei 23 °C ca. 15 Minuten, Entformung nach ca. 3 Stunden, vollständige Aushärtung nach 24 Stunden. Temperaturbeständig –40 °C bis +200 °C.

Prepare the original
The surface to be coated must be clean, dry, and free of dust. The ideal application temperature is 23 °C—cooler environments significantly extend the pot life and curing time.

Homogenize and mix the components
Stir the base and catalyst thoroughly before use. Weigh out a 1:1 ratio by weight (tolerance ±5%). When mixing, make sure to thoroughly incorporate the mixture along the sides and bottom of the container.

Vacuum venting
To ensure pore-free molds, briefly degas the mixture under vacuum—this removes trapped air bubbles and ensures a smooth mold surface.

Pour slowly into the mold
Pour in a thin stream from a height of about 30 cm into the deepest part—the silicone will displace the air on its own and reach all the undercuts.

Vulcanization and demolding
Bei 23 °C ist die Entformung nach ca. 3 Stunden möglich, vollständige Aushärtung nach 24 Stunden. Vor dem ersten Abguss 24 h "Reife-Phase" für maximale Festigkeit.

Important information

Avoid cross-linking inhibitors
Additionssysteme wie MF-Ultra 50 reagieren empfindlich auf Schwefel-, Amin-, Zinn- und Phosphor-Verbindungen — insbesondere Latex-Handschuhe, Knetmassen, Klebebänder und einige Lacke. Vor der Verwendung im Zweifel kleinen Test-Abguss machen.
Storage and shelf life
When stored unopened in its original container in a dry, cool place (10–25 °C), the product has a shelf life of at least 12 months. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before opening.

Compatibility
Compatible with polyurethane, epoxy, and polyester casting resins. When using aggressive resins, apply a release agent to protect the mold.

Als Additionssystem ist SILISIL RTV MF-Ultra 50 empfindlich gegen Vernetzungsinhibitoren: Schwefel-, Amin-, Zinn- und Phosphor-Verbindungen können die Vulkanisation lokal stoppen. Vermeiden Sie Latex-Handschuhe, schwefelhaltige Knetmassen, einige Klebebänder und PVC-Weichmacher in unmittelbarer Form-Nähe. Im Zweifelsfall einen kleinen Test-Abguss machen.

SILISIL RTV MF-Ultra 50 wird im Verhältnis 1:1 nach Gewicht (Basis zu Katalysator) gemischt, mit einer Toleranz von maximal ±5 %. Beide Komponenten vor dem Mischen separat homogenisieren, dann gründlich einarbeiten — auch Gefässwände und Boden. Eine kurze Vakuum-Entlüftung der Mischung wird für porenfreie Formen empfohlen.

SILISIL RTV MF-Ultra 50 erreicht eine Shore-A-Härte von 50 (ASTM D 2240), eine Reissfestigkeit von 3,6 N/mm² (ASTM D 412), eine Bruchdehnung von ca. 150 % und einen Reisswiderstand von 5 N/mm (ASTM D 624).
