foundation
Management buyout (MBO) of Shell's Aseol CT division
At that time, the company was still based in Bern. Focus: high-quality specialized chemical-technical products.
Moving to Gümligen
SILITECH moves to its current address in Gümligen.
Expansion of the product range
Focus on brands such as Loctite, Bonderite, Elkem.
Development of customized services: filling, consulting, sample services.
Entering new markets: automotive, electronics, medical technology.
Sustainability & Modernization
Introduction of environmentally conscious processes (recycling, packaging, transport routes).
Integration of new partners such as Zhermack, Acrystal, and Bioresin.
Launch of own brands
Rebranding and marketing of selected silicone and casting products under the proprietary brands SILISIL and SILIRESIN.
Looking ahead

Florian Liechti acquires 100% of the shares in SILITECH AG and has been managing the company as owner and managing director since February 2025.
