Clean the substrate
Degrease bonding surfaces with Permabond Cleaner A or acetone—this is also critical for industrial applications.

POP Primer (if needed)
For low-energy substrates (PP, PE, PTFE, silicone), apply Permabond POP Primer.

CSA Activator (if needed)
For porous or difficult substrates, spray CSA Aerosol onto the surface before applying CA.

Apply CA adhesive
Thixotropic gel or liquid CA — apply a small amount to the bonding surface.

Joining + Pressing
Join components immediately to ensure sufficient pressure for thin-film formation.

Instant bonding — initial bond strength is achieved quickly. Full strength is reached in 24 hours. For flexible cyanoacrylate adhesives, peel and impact resistance are achieved after full curing.

Permabond 743 HT: Hochtemperatur-Cyanacrylat mit hoher Flexibilität — wesentlich erhöhte Schäl-, Vibrations- und Stossfestigkeit, kompensiert unterschiedliche Wärmedehnung. Hauptanwendungen: Multi-Material mit Wärmedehnung, Vibrations-belastete Verklebung, Hochtemperatur-Industrieanwendung.

Flexible cyanoacrylates contain modifiers that, after curing, produce an elastic rather than a brittle-hard bond. Advantages: significantly higher peel, impact, and vibration resistance, as well as compensation for thermal expansion differences between substrates. Standard cyanoacrylates are prone to brittle fracture under these stresses—flexible variants withstand them much better.

Store in the unopened original container in a dry, cool place—Permabond adhesives typically between +5 and +25 °C; see the TDS for exact values. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use. Note the expiration date on the packaging. Store cyanoacrylates in a cool place (ideally refrigerated) for maximum shelf life.
