Permabond® Polyolefin Primer (POP) is designed to treat polyolefin, PTFE, and silicone surfaces prior to bonding with Permabond® cyanoacrylates. After treatment with Permabond® Polyolefin Primer, bonds can be achieved that are stronger than the substrate used.

Suitable surfaces and substrates

It is only suitable for surfaces with low surface energy that are difficult to bond without special surface treatment:

  • Plastics such as PTFE, polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PP)
  • silicone

Suitable adhesives

This polyolefin primer is suitable for Permabond® cyanoacrylates, but should not be mixed directly with cyanoacrylates.
