SILISIL RTV MD-Podo 25 ist ein bei Raumtemperatur vulkanisierendes 2-Komponenten-Silikon der MD — Medical (Dental, Podologie, Hautkontakt)-Serie (Addition (Platin), RTV-2) — Schnellabbinde-Silikon Shore A 23 — höhere Härte für belastbare Podologie- und Orthopädie-Modelle.

Die Mischung wird im Verhältnis 1:1 nach Gewicht angesetzt. Topfzeit bei 23 °C ca. 1 Minuten, Entformung nach ca. 3 Minuten, vollständige Aushärtung nach 24 Stunden. Temperaturbeständig –40 °C bis +200 °C.

Prepare the original
Clean, dry, and dust-free surface at 23 °C — cooler environments significantly extend pot life and curing time.

Mixing components
Stir the base and catalyst well before use. Weigh out a 1:1 ratio by weight. Work it in thoroughly, including the sides and bottom of the container.

Vacuum venting
To ensure a pore-free mold, briefly degas it under vacuum—this removes trapped air and guarantees a smooth mold surface.

Process
Pour in a thin stream from a height of about 30 cm — this minimizes air pockets.

Vulcanization and demolding
Bei 23 °C ist die Entformung nach ca. 3 Minuten möglich, vollständige Aushärtung nach 24 Stunden.

Important information

Avoid cross-linking inhibitors
Addition system (platinum) — sensitive to sulfur, amine, tin, and phosphorus compounds. Avoid contact with latex gloves and PVC plasticizers.
Storage and shelf life
When stored unopened in its original container in a dry, cool place (10–25 °C), the product has a shelf life of at least 12 months. Consult the SDS before opening.

Compatibility
Compatible with polyurethane, epoxy, and polyester casting resins. Apply a release agent when using aggressive resins.

SILISIL RTV MD-Podo 25 ist ein Addition (Platin)-System. Additionssystem (Platin) — empfindlich gegen Schwefel-, Amin-, Zinn- und Phosphor-Verbindungen. Kontakt mit Latex-Handschuhen und PVC-Weichmachern vermeiden.

SILISIL RTV MD-Podo 25 wird im Verhältnis 1:1 nach Gewicht (Basis zu Katalysator) gemischt. Beide Komponenten vor dem Mischen separat homogenisieren, dann gründlich einarbeiten — auch Gefässwände und Boden.

SILISIL RTV MD-Podo 25 erreicht eine Shore-A-Härte von 23 (ASTM D 2240), eine Reissfestigkeit von (siehe TDS) N/mm² (ASTM D 412), eine Bruchdehnung von ca. (siehe TDS) % und einen Reisswiderstand von (siehe TDS) N/mm (ASTM D 624).
