Permabond® 941 – Low-odor, non-blooming cyanoacrylate adhesive for precise, clean bonding
Permabond® 941 is a highly developed cyanoacrylate adhesive based on alkoxyethyl, which has been specially developed for applications requiring clean and low-odor processing. The product impresses with its "non-blooming" character, which makes it particularly suitable for visible and dark surfaces where appearance is crucial.
Thanks to its low viscosity of 10–20 mPa·s, it can be applied precisely and spreads evenly between the parts to be joined. Curing takes just a few seconds, while final strength is achieved after 24 hours. With shear strengths of up to 20 N/mm² (on steel), Permabond® 941 is suitable for high-strength, durable bonds.
In addition to its high mechanical strength, the adhesive offers excellent electrical breakdown resistance and good temperature and chemical resistance. It can even withstand higher thermal loads for short periods, such as those that occur in soldering or stoving processes.
Permabond® 941 is 100% reactive, contains no solvents, and is therefore an environmentally friendly yet powerful solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
