Permabond® 792 – Cyanoacrylate adhesive for fast, high-performance bonding
Permabond® 792 is a high-performance, single-component cyanoacrylate adhesive specially developed for extremely fast bonding of small plastic, rubber, metal, paper, cardboard, and leather parts. With its medium viscosity of 60–125 mPa·s, it is easy to dispense—both manually directly from the container and via automatic dispensing equipment.
Curing takes place within 2–3 seconds (depending on the material), making this adhesive particularly suitable for highly productive manufacturing processes. Final strength is achieved after 24 hours, with high shear and tensile strength values. Permabond® 792 is solvent-free, 100% reactive, and offers excellent temperature and chemical resistance.

Typical areas of application
- Highly productive production lines with short cycle times
- Assembly of small plastic, metal, and rubber parts
- Repairs in industry, trade, and hobbies
- Bonding of seals and O-rings
- Fine repairs in model making and electronics
Processing instructions
- Surface preparation: Keep surfaces clean, dry, and free of grease. Permabond Cleaner A is recommended.
- Application: Apply a small drop to one surface, then join the parts together, ensuring they are precisely aligned.
- Fixing: Apply even pressure and do not move during curing.
-
Optimization:
- For porous/difficult-to-bond surfaces, use Permabond CSA Activator.
- For polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, or silicone, apply Permabond Polyolefin Primer (POP) beforehand.
- Cleaning: Remove excess with Permabond CA Solvent 2.
storage
- Store in a cool place (34–46 °F).
- Bring to room temperature before use to prevent condensation.
