PERMABOND® 735 – Toughened cyanoacrylate adhesive for high-strength bonds
PERMABOND® 735 is a high-performance, elasticized cyanoacrylate adhesive based on ethyl cyanoacrylate, which has been specially developed for applications that require high resistance to impact and peel loads. Thanks to its extended curing time, it allows for precise alignment of components. The adhesive is black in color and is therefore particularly suitable for dark surfaces. It cures quickly at room temperature, is 100% reactive, solvent-free, and easy to use without mixing or heat application.

-
Adhesion to dark surfaces
Processing instructions
- Surface preparation: Parts must be clean, dry, and free of grease. For metals, remove any oxide layer with sandpaper if necessary.
-
Application:
- Shake before use
- Apply thinly to a surface (one drop is usually sufficient).
- Align parts precisely and join them immediately
- Apply even pressure until hand-tight.
- Curing: Handleable after a few seconds, final strength after 24 hours
- Special note: Use Permabond CSA Activator for porous or difficult substrates; use Permabond POP Primer beforehand for polyolefins, PTFE, or silicone.
- Cleaning: Remove excess adhesive with Permabond CA Solvent 2.
Storage and shelf life
- Storage: 2–7 °C, protect from direct sunlight
- Bring to room temperature before opening to prevent condensation.
