Permabond® 731 – Tough, elastic cyanoacrylate adhesive for high-strength, flexible bonds
Permabond® 731 is a toughened cyanoacrylate adhesive that has been specially developed for applications with high requirements in terms of impact resistance, peel strength, and flexibility. Thanks to its extended processing time, components can be precisely aligned before the adhesive cures quickly and reliably at room temperature.
With its high shear strength of up to 30 N/mm² on steel and its ability to bond a wide range of different materials such as metals, plastics, and elastomers, Permabond® 731 is versatile in industrial and manufacturing applications. The adhesive is 100% reactive, solvent-free, Biocompatible according to ISO 10993-5 (cytotoxicity) and offers excellent temperature and chemical resistance.

General industrial and repair work
Processing instructions
- Clean and degrease surfaces (e.g., with Permabond Cleaner A).
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the surface (one drop is sufficient).
- Align the components, join them together, and press down evenly.
- Do not move during the curing time (hand strength in seconds).
- For porous or difficult surfaces, use Permabond CSA Activator.
-
For polyolefins (PP, PE), PTFE, or silicone, apply Permabond Polyolefin Primer (POP) beforehand.
storage
Store at 2–7 °C. Bring to room temperature before use to prevent condensation.
