Examples of use
Flexible bonding applications in the fields of metalworking, plant and mechanical engineering, plastics, ventilation and air conditioning technology, as well as bodywork, railcar, vehicle, and container construction. Bonding over large surface areas prevents stress peaks in the joined parts. This allows for a reduction in material thickness and weight savings while maintaining the same strength. The neutral-curing polymer allows for application without thermal or chemical pretreatment of the jointed part.

Application Examples Flexible bonding in the fields of metal, apparatus, and mechanical engineering; plastics, ventilation, and air conditioning technology; and body, railcar, vehicle, and container construction. Bonding over large surfaces prevents stress peaks in the joined parts. This allows for a reduction in material thickness and weight savings while maintaining the same strength. The neutral-curing polymer allows for application without thermal or chemical pretreatment of the jointed part. Adhesion spectrum: Well-suited materials include metals, powder-coated, painted, galvanized, anodized, chromated, or hot-dip galvanized surfaces, various plastics, ceramics, concrete, plaster, wood, glass, painted surfaces, etc. Due to the wide variety of different plastics and their compositions, as well as materials prone to stress cracking (PC, PMMA), preliminary tests are recommended.
