Product description

BLUESIL® RTV 3428 B pink is the color-coded B component (catalyst) for the two-component silicone system RTV 3428. When combined with RTV 3428 A, it produces a high-performance silicone rubber with excellent elasticity, high tear resistance, and excellent temperature resistance up to +250°C (briefly up to +300°C). The intense pink color facilitates visual control during mixing and ensures uniform processing—ideal for applications where safety and reproducibility are particularly important. The material is ideal for molds in prototype construction, tool molds, and series applications in industrial environments.

Processing instructions

  1. RTV 3428 B pink Stir well before use.

  2. Mix with RTV 3428 A in a precise ratio of 10:1.

  3. Mix thoroughly; color helps with homogeneity testing.

  4. Vacuum venting recommended for bubble-free results

  5. Pouring into clean, prepared molds

  6. Curing at room temperature, optionally accelerated at up to 100°C

  7. Do not allow reaction with materials containing tin, amines, or sulfur.

  8. Storage: dry, airtight, at 5–30°C
