Product description

BLUESIL® RTV 3428 A + B Kit pink is an addition-curing two-component silicone rubber system specially developed for the production of technical molds with high visibility. The pink pigmentation facilitates visual control during processing and demolding. The system offers a Shore hardness of approx. 28, combined with high tear resistance, thermal resistance up to +250 °C (briefly up to +300 °C) and excellent elasticity. The mixing ratio of 1:1 (by weight or volume) makes handling easy and efficient – ideal for series production, prototype construction, or use in workshops with high quality standards.

product features

  • Two-component silicone system, addition-curing

  • Color: pink – good visual control during use

  • Shore hardness A: approx. 28 – flexible and dimensionally stable

  • Mixing ratio: 10:1 (weight or volume)

  • Pot life: approx. 30 minutes

  • Demolding time: approx. 6–8 hours at room temperature

  • Temperature range: –60 °C to +250 °C (briefly +300 °C)

  • High tear and tear resistance

  • Shrink-free, elastic, and durable

  • Vacuum processing recommended for delicate structures

  • Ideal for technical, decorative, and functional shapes

Suitable materials

  • Polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylic resins

  • Plaster, soap, wax, concrete

  • Modeling materials such as clay, wood, metal, or plastic

Typical areas of application

  • Mold making for prototypes and series production

  • Molding of technical components with tight tolerances

  • Replication of design and technical components

  • Thermally stressed molds in industry and trade

  • Tools for vacuum casting, thermoforming, or composite processing

  • Applications with high demand for visual inspection and reusability

Processing instructions

  1. Homogenize components A and B separately

  2. Strictly adhere to the mixing ratio of 10:1.

  3. Mix thoroughly – uniform color indicates homogeneity

  4. Vacuum processing recommended for bubble-free results

  5. Pour into prepared mold with clean, grease-free Original

  6. Curing at room temperature or accelerated with heat

  7. Demolding after complete cross-linking

  8. No contact with substances containing tin, amines, or sulfur

  9. Storage: sealed airtight at 5–30 °C
