Permabond® 2K Primer – Two-component surface treatment for durable adhesive bonds
Permabond® 2K Primer is a high-performance two-component pretreatment for preparing surfaces prior to bonding with structural adhesives such as epoxies, acrylates, or polyurethanes. Not only does it increase the long-term durability of adhesive bonds under harsh environmental conditions, but its red color also allows for visual verification of wetting. The primer protects the adhesive joint and improves adhesion, especially for materials that are subject to thermal, mechanical, or chemical stress. By simply spraying it on, the condition of the pretreatment can be checked immediately and optimized if necessary—a clear advantage for high-quality industrial bonds.

Processing instructions
- Degrease adhesive surfaces, sand lightly, remove sanding dust.
- Open glass bottle "A," add ampoule "B," shake well.
- Attach the spray head and spray on a thin layer of primer.
- Visually check the wetting – reapply if necessary.
- Wipe off excess primer with a dry cloth.
- Allow to dry completely before gluing.
- Process within 8 hours after mixing.
