SILISIL Silicone Spray 500 ml is the all-purpose silicone spray from the SILISIL line, designed for lubrication, release, and maintenance applications. Its polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-based formulation leaves a thin, even silicone film that is water-repellent, dielectric, and heat-stable.
For more demanding requirements regarding compatibility with plastics and elastomers, we recommend the premium version (SILISIL Premium Silicone Spray).

The Standard Silicone Spray is optimized for general workshop use. The Premium version uses purer PDMS and is specifically designed for use with plastics and elastomers (e.g., polycarbonate, EPDM).
For durable plastics such as PE, PP, and PA, yes. For delicate plastics (polycarbonate, ABS, polystyrene), we recommend the premium version or conducting a material compatibility test beforehand.
Depending on the level of wear, this can range from a few hours (for abrasive applications) to several weeks (for protected bearing components). Reapply regularly under continuous use.
