SILISIL RTV PC-Putty 30 Slow CATALYST is a two-component addition-curing silicone from the SILISIL Platinum Cast series. Thanks to its platinum-based curing mechanism, the system is highly transparent, leaves no residue, and is particularly suitable for applications requiring optical clarity, close skin contact, or food-grade-like properties.
Special features of this variant: Thixotropic / Putty: stays in place on vertical surfaces, does not run.

Processing and Mixing

- Before use, stir both components separately and then mix them thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) removes air pockets and improves surface quality
- Apply ideally at 23 °C and 40–60% relative humidity
- Contamination from sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-cured systems—they prevent curing
Storage and shelf life
- Store in the unopened original container at 5–25 °C, in a dry place and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the date of manufacture as specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- Close tightly after opening
