SILISIL RTV MF-Spray 25-6 is a two-component addition-curing silicone rubber from the SILISIL Moulding-Flex series. Its platinum-curing formulation produces a low-shrinkage mold with excellent detail reproduction, high tear strength, and a long mold life—the standard solution for professional mold making.

With a Shore A hardness of 6, the product falls into the category of very soft silicones (skin simulation, gel impressions, podiatry).

Processing and Mixing

- Before use, stir both components separately and then mix them thoroughly in the specified ratio
- Degassing under vacuum (30–50 mbar) removes air pockets and improves surface quality
- Apply ideally at 23 °C and 40–60% relative humidity
- Contamination from sulfur, amines, tin catalysts, or PVC must be avoided in platinum-cured systems—they prevent curing
Storage and shelf life
- Store in the unopened original container at 5–25 °C, in a dry place and protected from direct sunlight
- Shelf life from the date of manufacture as specified in the TDS — typically 12–24 months
- Close tightly after opening
