Oil-resistant surface sealant based on silicone
LOCTITE® SI 5910 is a single-component, paste-like silicone surface sealant for flexible metal or plastic flanges with machined or cast surfaces. The product cures at room temperature through exposure to atmospheric moisture (RTV), is resistant to engine oils, and is ideal for applications involving relative movement, e.g., on oil pans, transmission covers, or housings.
Thanks to its thixotropic properties, the material does not run – perfect for automated dispensing or manual processing.
