LOCTITE® SF 7063 is a CFC-free, solvent-based surface cleaner that quickly removes contaminants such as grease, oil, and light production residues without leaving any residue. With very low viscosity (≈ 2 mPa·s at 20 °C), the cleaner spreads finely over the surface and evaporates quickly (flash-off time ≤ 60 s at 20 °C), so that adhesives can be applied immediately after drying. The formula is based on isoparaffin, dimethoxymethane, and ethanol and appears as a clear, colorless solution.
When used correctly, LOCTITE SF 7063 does not affect the curing and final strength of LOCTITE adhesives; on the contrary, thoroughly cleaned surfaces ensure reliable adhesion and consistent quality.
The cleaner is also suitable for maintenance work, such as quickly degreasing machine parts.

Processing instructions
- Spray the product onto the surface or apply it with a lint-free paper towel soaked in cleaner.
- While the surface is still wet, wipe it with a clean cloth to remove any dirt and excess solvent.
- Repeat cleaning if necessary.
- Allow to air dry completely before bonding to prevent solvent particles in the joint gap.
- Apply adhesive and join parts.
