LOCTITE® EA 3425 is an epoxy structural adhesive with high impact resistance, moisture resistance, and particularly high shear strength of 27 N/mm². After mixing, it has a white-yellow color. Thanks to its thixotropic properties, the adhesive is easy to apply and reduces the run-off of the liquid product. It is ideal for gap filling (up to 3 mm) and for applications on vertical surfaces. It is typically used in applications with short production cycle times for bonding surface-mounted (SPM) and internal permanent magnets (IPM). LOCTITE EA 3425 cures at room temperature or under the influence of heat or induction and offers high modulus and good chemical resistance.
