Product description

The LOCTITE AA F246 + LOCTITE SF INI5 set combines the powerful, toughened structural adhesive LOCTITE AA F246 with the matching activator LOCTITE SF INI5.

The "no-mix" system enables simple, clean processing: the activator is applied to one surface and the adhesive to the other. Curing only begins when the components are joined. This eliminates the need for manual mixing of the components, which saves time and ensures consistently high processing quality.

LOCTITE AA F246 cures quickly at room temperature, is impact-modified, and offers excellent temperature and chemical resistance. Its high viscosity also makes it suitable for vertical applications and uneven joints.

Processing instructions

  1. Keep adhesive surfaces clean, dry, and free of grease.
  2. Apply activator (INI5) thinly to one adhesive surface and adhesive (F246) to the other.
  3. For larger gaps (up to 0.5 mm), apply activator to both surfaces.
  4. Add parts within 15 minutes (for single-sided activation).
  5. Remove excess adhesive with organic solvent before it hardens.
  6. Secure the connection until the adhesive has set (usually a few minutes).
  7. Final strength after 24–72 hours, depending on gap, material, and temperature.
