BLUESIL RTV 3535 P – ultra-fast 2-component silicone paste for mold-making and rapid prototyping
BLUESIL RTV 3535 P A&B is a two-component, addition-curing silicone elastomer in paste form (non-flowing). The 1:1 mixing ratio (A white, B blue) and the extremely short pot life (2–3 minutes processing time, 5 minutes curing time, Shore A 28 after 8 minutes) make this product ideal for quick bonding applications in the workshop.
Ideal for: molds, models, and prototypes that need to be ready in minutes rather than hours. The paste-like consistency is a key advantage: the product stays in place where it is applied, even on vertical surfaces or overhead.
What's in this container?
Complete Kit A + B, 25 kg containers each. Ready to mix in a 1:1 ratio.
Processing in 3 steps
- Measure out components A and B in a 1:1 ratio, then mix thoroughly by hand or with a putty knife until the blue color is uniform
- Press the product onto the model – in one piece, without any seams
- Can be removed from the mold after about 5 minutes of curing; wait one hour for the final properties to develop
To extend the working time, the components can be stored in the refrigerator before use—however, this also extends the curing time.

Inhibition Warning (Addition-RTV)
Platinum-catalyzed silicones are inhibited in trace amounts by: sulfur-containing rubbers, tin-catalyzed RTV, tin-stabilized PVC, and amine-cured epoxies. If in doubt, conduct a preliminary test at the test site.
BLUESIL RTV 3535 P is supplied by SILITECH AG with technical support, a batch certificate, and shipping from our Swiss warehouse within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions About the BLUESIL RTV 3535 P A&B Kit
Answers about the complete kit.
For quick impressions and prototype molds that need to be ready in minutes rather than hours. Typical applications: on-site impressions (reliefs, historical objects), quick molds in the workshop, and applying prototyping paste. The paste mold stays in place at the application site—even on vertical or overhead surfaces.
By storing the components in the refrigerator before mixing. Cold temperatures significantly slow down the platinum reaction. However, this also extends the curing time accordingly—please plan your workflow accordingly.
The 1:1 ratio is not affected by dosing inaccuracies —making it ideal for manual mixing without a scale. Two identical measuring cups or a visual estimate are sufficient. The 1:1 ratio is also suitable for two-component mixing and dispensing devices.
The most important ones: incomplete mixing (color not uniform → hard spots), exceeding the working time (paste becomes crumbly), and visible seams during application (surface imperfections). Mix until the color is uniform, work quickly, and apply in a single, continuous stroke.
