Product description

BLUESIL® RTV 3410 QC A is the A component of a particularly fast-curing, addition-curing two-component silicone system that has been specially developed for optical, electrical, and sensory applications. When combined with the appropriate B component (catalyst), it produces a highly transparent, elastic silicone with excellent dielectric properties, very good temperature resistance, and a short curing time. The low viscosity ensures easy and bubble-free processing, even in complex geometries or with fine components. RTV 3410 QC is particularly suitable for optoelectronic components, sensors, LED encapsulation, and electronic protective coatings.

Processing instructions

  1. RTV 3410 QC A: Homogenize well before mixing.

  2. Mix with RTV 3410 QC B in a ratio of 10:1 (weight or volume).

  3. Mix thoroughly, avoiding air bubbles

  4. Vacuum venting recommended for bubble-free appearance

  5. Casting or embedding in a prepared mold

  6. Curing at room temperature in a few hours or accelerated with heat

  7. Demolding after complete curing

  8. Avoid contact with materials containing sulfur, amines, or tin.

  9. Store in a cool, dry place, sealed in the original container.
