Product description

BLUESIL® RTV 3325P is a modified version of the proven RTV 3325 and was specially developed for applications requiring frequent demolding. Thanks to its integrated silicone-based release agent, RTV 3325P offers significantly improved demoldability without compromising detail reproduction or mechanical properties. The mixture is made in a 1:1 ratio with the appropriate catalyst and cures at room temperature to form an elastic, dimensionally stable molding material with a Shore hardness of approx. 25. It is particularly suitable for industrial series molds and technical applications with PU, epoxy, or plaster.

product features

  • Two-component system, addition-curing
  • Optimized A-component with integrated separation aid
  • Shore hardness A: approx. 25 – medium hard, elastic
  • Mixing ratio 1:1 (with RTV 3325 Catalyst)
  • Pot life: approx. 30 minutes
  • Demolding time: approx. 6–8 hours at room temperature
  • Shrink-free, dimensionally stable, and reusable
  • Temperature range: –60 °C to +200 °C
  • Very good tear resistance, high tear resistance
  • Vacuum processing possible
  • High chemical resistance

Suitable materials

  • polyurethane resins
  • epoxy resins
  • Plaster, wax, soap
  • Originals made of wood, plastic, or metal (with primer if necessary)

Typical areas of application

  • Series mold making for PU and epoxy resin
  • Production of technical prototypes and tool molds
  • Molding of mechanical components with fine structures
  • Design shapes that require frequent demolding
  • Replica molds with undercuts and deep details
  • Model and mold making for industry and trade

Processing instructions

  1. Stir RTV 3325P well before use.
  2. Strictly adhere to the mixing ratio of 1:1 with catalyst.
  3. Mix thoroughly – do not introduce air bubbles
  4. Vacuum venting is recommended for delicate shapes.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared mold.
  6. Curing at room temperature, optionally with heat support
  7. Demolding after complete cross-linking
  8. Not for use with materials containing sulfur, tin, or amines.
  9. Storage: Keep in the original container, cool and dry at 5–30 °C.
