Special features
The special formulation of Acrystal® Prima ensures good surface hardness with reduced susceptibility to breakage. Molded parts made from Acrystal® can be removed from the mold and processed after just 40–90 minutes. With Acrystal® Prima, cost-effective molds can be produced quickly and precisely . The surface can be made glossy and weatherproof by coating it with Acrystal® Finition. Acrystal® Prima adheres very well to styrofoam and other rigid foams, allowing lightweight and transportable elements to be produced. By incorporating a few layers of Acrystal® Quadraxial fabric, pressure-resistant, walkable surfaces can be obtained.
processing
- Mixing: Stir the "Basic Crystal" powder into the "Acrystal Prima" liquid (mixing ratio: 1 part resin to 2.5 parts powder).
- Application procedure:
- Pouring: Pour into a silicone mold using the usual venting procedures.
