ACRYSTAL Decor Carrara is an innovative two-component acrylic resin system for casting, laminating, modeling, and coating, which is characterized by its ease of use, environmental friendliness, and impressive marble look. The system consists of the liquid, water-based Acrystal PRIMA resin and the mineral-filled Dekor Carrara powder. After curing, this combination creates a stone-like, high-strength surface with glittering particles – ideal for artistic, decorative, and functional applications.
Sustainable, safe, and versatile
ACRYSTAL products are based on water-soluble acrylic chemistry – they contain no solvents, are odorless, non-toxic, and emission-free. This makes them the perfect choice for schools, theaters, museums, architectural models, design objects, and much more. Processing is quick and easy, with a pot life of approx. 8–10 minutes and demoldability after just 20–100 minutes – without the need for heat or an oven.

Easy to use with professional results
The powder is slowly stirred into the liquid – preferably with a mixer running at over 700 rpm to prevent lumps from forming. The mixture can be poured directly into silicone molds or laminated with fiberglass fabric. Spray application is also possible. For a glossy and weather-resistant finish in outdoor areas, a final coating with Acrystal Finition is recommended.
After demolding, surfaces can be washed or sanded to reveal the marble particles. The result: an authentic-looking, decorative surface that resembles real Carrara marble in terms of structure and appearance—but is significantly lighter and easier to work with.
