Merbenit PC200
Merbenit PC200 - Merbenit PC200 is a short-term high-temperature-resistant, fast-curing, elastic sealant and adhesive with exceptionally high strength that develops rapidly.
Merbenit PC200 - High-temperature-resistant, fast-curing adhesive and sealant.
Merbenit PC200 is a short-term high-temperature-resistant, fast-curing, elastic sealant and adhesive with exceptionally high strength that develops rapidly. Thanks to its SMP base, it adheres to a wide variety of materials and surfaces. Its temperature resistance of up to 240°C enables elastic bonding of components that are exposed to elevated temperatures for short periods during the further manufacturing process or in the end application.
- After full curing, briefly up to 240°C
- durable, e.g., for powder coating and thermoplastic coating
- Fast network establishment even at low temperatures
- and materials that are impermeable to moisture and air
- High ultimate strength

Examples of use
Flexible and sealing bonding for use in metalworking, plant and mechanical engineering, plastics, ventilation and air conditioning technology, as well as in automotive bodywork, railcar, vehicle, and container construction. Rapid curing allows for quick further processing of the bonded parts. The neutral-curing polymer enables application without thermal or chemical pretreatment of the joint. Tolerance-compensating bond. After full cure, the product can be briefly heated up to 240°C for powder coating and thermal painting processes. Due to the wide variety of systems and processes available on the market, we recommend conducting preliminary tests.

After the production of additional batches, slight adjustments to the product specifications may occur. Application examples: Flexible and sealing bonding in the fields of metal, apparatus, and mechanical engineering; plastics, ventilation, and air conditioning technology; and body, railcar, vehicle, and container construction. Rapid cross-linking allows for quick further processing of the bonded parts. The neutral-curing polymer allows for application without thermal or chemical pretreatment of the joint. Tolerance-compensating bond. After full cure, the product can be briefly heated up to 240°C for powder and thermoplastic coating processes. Due to the wide variety of systems and processes available on the market, we recommend preliminary testing. Adhesion spectrum: Suitable materials include metals, powder-coated, painted, galvanized, anodized, chromated, or hot-dip galvanized surfaces, various plastics, ceramics, stone, concrete, and wood. Due to the wide variety of different plastics and compositions, as well as materials prone to stress cracking, preliminary tests are recommended.
