Permabond® UV 7220 is a one-part, cationic epoxy UV adhesive (black) that cures under UV light (365 nm), heat, or a combination of both. Thanks to its cationic mechanism, curing continues even in shaded areas—perfect for complex geometries or dense assemblies.

Suitable materials & applications

Processing instructions

1. Application: Apply to one of the two surfaces to be bonded using a dispenser (no mixing required).
2. Alignment: Position parts, as curing takes place slowly (UV flash + heat as an option).
3. Curing: Use UV light (365 nm); then apply heat for complete polymerization – ideal for concealed areas.
4. Cleaning: Remove any excess with a suitable solvent if necessary.
5. Curing time & handling: Surface remains tack-free – ideal for dust-sensitive applications and further processing.
