LOCTITE 4061 – Instant adhesive for fast and secure bonding of plastic, rubber, and metal
Product description
LOCTITE 4061 is a low-viscosity, single-component instant adhesive based on ethyl cyanoacrylate, which has been specially developed for fast and high-strength bonding of plastics, elastomers (such as rubber), and metals. Thanks to its very short setting time, LOCTITE 4061 is ideal for fast manufacturing processes, small series production, and repair and assembly work where high precision and reliable adhesion are required.
Curing takes place through air humidity and is completed within a few seconds. This allows components to be positioned and permanently bonded in a fraction of a second. The transparent, virtually colorless adhesive joint is also suitable for visually demanding applications. Thanks to its tested biocompatibility in accordance with ISO 10993, LOCTITE 4061 is also approved for the assembly of disposable medical devices.
LOCTITE 4061 exhibits excellent adhesion to difficult substrates such as ABS, PVC, polycarbonate, neoprene, nitrile rubber, aluminum, galvanized steel, and other materials. The adhesive bond is resistant to numerous chemicals and remains permanently stable even under temperature fluctuations and high humidity.
