Product description
LOCTITE AA 3491 is a one-part, modified acrylic adhesive specifically designed for highly transparent, impact-resistant bonds. It cures within seconds under UV light (365 nm) and offers excellent resistance to moisture, water, and repeated dishwasher cycles.
Thanks to its optical clarity, it is particularly suitable for applications where the adhesive joint should remain virtually invisible, for example in decorative glass surfaces, molded glass tableware, or automotive lighting components.
The product can be cured with low or high intensity UV light and is particularly suitable for rapid series production. Its high heat and aging resistance makes LOCTITE AA 3491 a reliable choice for demanding industrial applications.

Processing instructions
- Keep adhesive surfaces clean, dry, and free of grease.
- Process the product away from light (UV-sensitive).
- Application using black dispensing lines to prevent premature curing.
- Recommended UV intensity: at least 40 mW/cm² for adhesive applications.
- For surface hardening in coatings or encapsulation: at least 100 mW/cm².
- Protect sensitive plastics from overheating.
- Remove excess, uncured adhesive with acetone.
- After curing, allow the bonded area to cool before applying any load.
