Permabond A905 Surface Activator for Anaerobic Adhesives – Faster Curing and Improved Gap Filling
Permabond® A905 is a high-quality surface activator that has been specially developed to improve the curing properties of anaerobic adhesives and sealants. It is particularly useful when it comes to optimally preparing inactive or non-metallic materials such as plastics, ceramics, or treated glass for bonding. Applying the activator significantly increases the curing speed and improves the gap-filling ability of the adhesive, which is particularly advantageous for larger bonding surfaces or areas that are difficult to access.
Permabond A905 is available in both a convenient spray version and as a liquid for high-volume applications. Thanks to its fast-evaporating formula, the activator leaves minimal residue and is particularly easy to use. The solvents used have been specially formulated to minimize damage to the surfaces of common plastics. However, it is always advisable to perform a compatibility test before use.

Processing instructions
- Apply Permabond A905 thinly to one of the two surfaces to be bonded (using spray, cloth, or dipping).
- Allow to air dry (evaporates quickly and leaves hardly any residue).
- Apply anaerobic adhesive to the untreated mating surface.
- Add components as usual and allow to cure.
Important information
- No direct contact between the activator and the adhesive bottle is permitted.
- Contaminated adhesive must not be poured back into the bottle.
- Avoid contact between coated bottle necks and activated surfaces
- Test compatibility on plastic surfaces in an inconspicuous place.
- Storage between 5 and 25°C recommended
