Product description BONDERITE L-GP D18A ACHESON

BONDERITE L-GP D18A ACHESON is a molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) graphite aerosol that creates a dry lubricating film. It is ideal for components that require very low friction in dry conditions and offers excellent performance at extreme temperatures and loads.

Special features
  • Operating temperatures: -200 °C to over +390 °C.
  • High load capacity: Up to 28,000 kg/cm² with low relative movements.
  • Suitable for speeds up to 15 m/s.
  • Fast drying and easy to use.
Applications
  • Small components with cams, plain bearings, gears, screws, and bolts.
  • Dry lubrication when low friction is required.
Processing instructions
Preparation
  • The parts must be clean, dry, and free of oil and grease.
  • Pre-treatments such as phosphating, anodizing, pickling, or sandblasting are suitable for improving adhesion and durability.
Application
  1. Surface temperature: Maximum 35 °C for optimal adhesion.
  2. Preparation of the can: Shake the can well for approx. 30 seconds.
  3. Application: Spray onto the surface from a distance of 10 to 15 cm.
  4. Drying: The film dries quickly; complete curing takes about 20 minutes.
Extended application

For increased friction properties at high temperatures, a pre-applied graphite lubricant film with BONDERITE L-GP D17A can reduce the susceptibility to oxidation of the BONDERITE L-GP D18A ACHESON coating.
