LOCTITE® EDAG 6017SS is a thermoplastic-based conductive carbon ink that has been specially developed for heating applications. It is characterized by stable electrical resistance in the temperature range from 20 to 80°C and can be used at temperatures up to 100°C. Thanks to its excellent screen printability, it can be easily applied to polyester film (PET, PEN, PI), paper, or cardboard, where it offers good adhesion.
The resistance value can be individually adjusted by mixing with LOCTITE® EDAG PM 404. Typical areas of application include printed resistors, heating foils, sensors, and ESD protection. The ink can be dried at low temperatures (e.g., 15 min at 120°C), making it suitable for more sensitive substrates or fast manufacturing processes.
Key features:
- Flexible and stable across a wide temperature range (20–80°C)
- Good adhesion to various substrates such as PET, PEN, paper, and cardboard
- Variable resistance values by mixing with LOCTITE® EDAG PM 404
- Compatible with common silver conductive pastes (e.g., LOCTITE® ECI 1010)
- Easy processing by screen printing at relatively low drying temperatures
For detailed information on processing, drying times, or safety aspects, we recommend consulting the current Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
