Product description:

BONDERITE L-FG 144/2 ACHESON is a high-quality, water-based die lubricant based on graphite, specially developed for the requirements of modern pressure forging and extrusion processes for steel and high-performance alloys. The odorless formulation contains no ammonia and impresses with its effective lubricating effect and excellent release performance.

The product enables uniform wetting of die surfaces up to 450 °C and ensures controlled metal movement and optimal die filling. Thanks to the fine film formation, clean, residue-free lubrication is achieved without smoke or gas formation – an important contribution to a clean, safe working environment.

Its high dilution ratio guarantees economical use and at the same time allows precise control of the die temperatures. BONDERITE L-FG 144/2 ACHESON is easy to apply using a spray method and is ideal for continuous industrial use.

Typical areas of application:

• Press forging process in metalworking

• Extrusion process for precise metal forming

Processing instructions:

• Stir well before use and mix with water in the desired dilution ratio (1:10 to 1:40 depending on the application).

• For optimal results, degrease the die and preheat it to approx. 150 °C.

• Application by spraying, preferably with BONDERITE spray equipment

• Store in a cool, frost-free place – frozen product is no longer usable.
