Product description

BLUESIL® RTV 3132 B is the specially developed hardener component for the condensation-curing 2K silicone system RTV 3132 A. The combination of both components enables the production of high-precision, elastic silicone molds that are characterized by low shrinkage, good chemical resistance, and excellent tear resistance. The hardener allows for easy processing at room temperature and is suitable for a wide range of applications in industry, model making, replication technology, and decorative mold making. BLUESIL® RTV 3132 B ensures uniform curing and supports the optimal formation of mechanically robust, flexible molds.

product features

  • Catalyst for RTV 3132 A

  • Liquid consistency – easy to dispense

Suitable partner products

  • BLUESIL® RTV 3132 A – Standard component for molding and casting technology

  • Can also be combined with RTV 3132 B SB (delayed curing – sold separately)

Typical areas of application

  • Molds for wax, plaster, soap, concrete

  • Model making, design and prototype parts

  • Negative molds for art casting or technical components

  • Mold making for epoxy and PU casting resins (with release agent)

  • Replica molds in architecture and monument preservation

Processing instructions

  1. Homogenize RTV 3132 A and 3132 B well before use.

  2. Mixing ratio 100:5 to 100:10 depending on the desired reactivity

  3. Mix without air bubbles, vent if necessary

  4. Pour into prepared mold or apply to model

  5. Curing at room temperature – complete cross-linking after 12–24 hours

  6. Demolding only after complete curing

  7. Do not use with materials containing tin, amines, or sulfur.

  8. Store product in a cool, dry, airtight place.
