CAF 1 - High-performance silicone elastomer for industrial seals and bonding applications
Elkem CAF 1 is a red, single-component, acetate-curing RTV-1 silicone adhesive with a thixotropic consistency. The product is ready to use and cures at room temperature under the influence of air humidity to form a permanently elastic silicone rubber.
CAF 1 is ideal for industrial applications that require high temperature resistance, electrical insulation, and reliable adhesion. It adheres without primer to many materials such as glass, ceramics, and enamel. The use of a primer is recommended for metals and plastics.
